Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Taishu Sakaba Okaeri, a newly opened izakaya restaurant on the ground floor of Souk Kaihin-Makuhari, just 1 minute walk from Kaihin-Makuhari Station in Mihama-ku, Chiba. As an opening-period recruit, you will be one of the first-generation team members helping to build the culture and atmosphere of this new venue from the ground up. Hall duties include welcoming and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, processing payments, and clearing tables. Kitchen duties include food preparation, simple cooking, plating, and dishwashing. The restaurant operates from 12:00 to 00:00 (ending at midnight) with no set closing day. Minimum 1 day per week and short shifts of 1-2 hours are accepted, making it very flexible for students and those with second jobs. Late-night shifts after 22:00 are limited to applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law). Full daily payment (日払い hibarai) — the entire day's wages are paid the same day. A busy-period bonus (大入り手当) is also paid on high-attendance days. Free staff meals are provided using carefully selected ingredients, praised by the team for their quality (まかない makanai). A one-month training period applies at 1,140 yen, rising to 1,200 yen on completion. Hair colour, nail polish, and piercings are all permitted.
