Job Description:
This is a kitchen cooking assistance dispatch role at a care and welfare facility near Chiba Station in Wakaba-ku, Chiba City, supporting a nutritionist-designed meal service for approximately 60 residents per service. Tasks include preparing regular meals as well as minced, finely minced, and blended texture-modified diets (刻み食・極刻み食・ミキサー食) for elderly residents with varying dietary needs — working as part of a team of around 5 staff per shift. Two shift options are available, both running every day of the week: a morning shift from 08:30 to 14:30 and an afternoon shift from 14:30 to 19:30. Combining both shifts for a longer day is also possible with consultation. Staff meals are provided free of charge — the same food served to residents (まかない makanai). Transport is fully reimbursed at actual cost; car and motorbike commuters receive 15 yen per kilometre, with free parking available. Experience at a care facility or hospital kitchen is preferred, though applications from motivated beginners are also accepted.
