Job Description:
This is a hotel room cleaning and bed-making (ベッドメイキング beddo-meikingu) role at HOTEL ruang, a leisure hotel in the Kusatsu area of Hiroshima's Nishi-ku ward. Each room is cleaned by a team of two to four staff, so no single person carries the full workload — an ideal setup for those new to hotel housekeeping. Tasks follow a fixed sequence: stripping and replacing bed linen, cleaning the bathroom and washbasin with specialist products, and restocking amenities such as towels and toiletries in their designated positions. Three shift patterns are available: daytime 09:00-17:00, evening 17:00-00:00, and overnight 00:00-09:00; a 10:00-18:00 option is also possible on request. The base hourly rate is 1,090円 for those working two to three days per week, rising to 1,140円 for four or more days; deep-night hours from 22:00 are covered by an all-in rate of 1,313円 or 1,375円 respectively. A one-week trial period is available at 1,090円 per hour for those who want to check the environment before committing. As experience grows, optional involvement in simple kitchen assistance and front-desk tasks can lead to further pay increases; a twice-yearly bonus is also in place. Nails, piercings, hair colour, beard, and casual clothing such as jeans and hoodies are all permitted — no uniform required.
