Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Marugame Seimen Sendai Nishitaga, a popular udon chain (うどん屋 udon-ya) located along Route 286 in the Taihaku ward of Sendai, Miyagi. The store operates across a wide window -- weekday shifts run from 08:30 to 23:00, with extended hours to 24:00 on Fridays and Saturdays and an 08:00 start on weekends and holidays. From 22:00 onwards a statutory deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies, bringing the rate to 1,375 yen per hour for those hours. Hall duties include tray and dish collection, register operation, and dining area cleaning; kitchen duties cover udon cooking assistance, tempura and rice dish preparation, and dishwashing using an industrial machine. No experience is required -- step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and a full recipe manual are provided, and the work is divided into focused tasks so beginners can get up to speed quickly. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at 120 yen per meal up to 800 yen worth of food, and a family canteen card provides up to 10,000 yen per month for employees with children aged 15 and under. Transport allowance is paid up to 50,000 yen per month; car and motorbike commuting are permitted with fuel costs reimbursed within company guidelines. A minimum contract of 3 months is expected, with shift days and hours negotiable on a weekly basis -- as little as two hours per shift and two days per week is accepted.

Wage:

1,100円 (per hour) Deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25% increase for hours worked from 22:00 onwards (approx. 1,375 yen/hour). Salary increase system in place. Bonus system available.
