Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Kurazushi (無添くら寿司) in Sendai's Miyagino ward, a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant part of the nationwide Kura Sushi chain. Work is divided across four positions: floor service and register (フロア furoa), backyard prep including netting, shari rice, and frying (バックヤード bakkuyaado), hand-rolling nigiri (にぎり nigiri), and gunkan and aburi preparation (軍かん gunkan). Much of the restaurant operation is mechanised — orders come through touchscreens and dishwashing is automated — so there are no difficult techniques to master before you can contribute. A 50-hour training period (研修 kenshuu) at the base rate introduces all the basics; staff are supported by senior colleagues throughout. Shifts run within the 09:00-24:00 window and can be as short as 3 hours a day and 2 days a week — easily combined with school, childcare, or another job. Weekend and public holiday shifts earn a supplement of +30 yen per hour. A late-night supplement (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% above base applies from 22:00 onward. An advance pay system (前給制度 maekyu-seido) allows you to receive part of your earned wages before the regular pay date, subject to conditions. High school students are restricted to shifts ending by 22:00; shifts from 22:00 onward are for applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law).

Wage:
