Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Chiyo Sendai S-Pal, a Japanese izakaya specialising in dashi broth and oyster dishes, located in the basement of S-Pal Sendai shopping centre — a 1-minute walk from Sendai Station. Hall duties include seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, preparing drinks, and processing payments; kitchen duties include assisting senior cooks, dishwashing, food prep, and plating. You can state your preference for hall or kitchen at application, and the store will match you based on your interest and suitability. Shifts are available between 09:00 and 23:00, with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and as few as 1 day per week — making this easy to combine with studies, a second job, or family commitments. All new staff receive a special starting rate of 1,200円/hour for the first 2 months (standard rate is 1,100円); freeters keep the 1,200円 rate beyond 2 months, and there is a monthly salary review opportunity. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided, and advance payment (前払い maebarai) allows you to receive the previous month's earnings at the start of the month.

Standard rate after introductory period: 1,100円 (freeters remain at 1,200円+). Late-night premium applies from 22:00. Monthly salary review opportunity. Introductory 2-month rate: 1,200円 for all new hires.
