Job Description:
This is a hall staff role at Oyaji Group's popular Japanese izakaya restaurants — Segare (せがれ) and Yakomago (玄孫) — located in central Sendai, just 3 minutes walk from Hirose-dori Station. Duties cover all front-of-house work: welcoming guests, taking orders by handy terminal, serving food and drinks, table clearing, and cleaning. The busiest period is 18:00-21:00 when the restaurant fills up and fast-paced teamwork is required; the listing is upfront that this demands stamina, but strong performance is directly rewarded through a daily incentive bonus. An incentive system pays 500-1,000 yen per shift based on sales, with some staff earning up to 20,000 yen extra per month. A late-night supplement (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies from 22:00 onward, bringing the effective rate up to 1,375 yen or above for those hours. Salary increases are made twice a year (September and March), rising by 50-100 yen each time. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided free of charge, with a rotating menu of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. Sundays and public holidays are fixed days off, plus long breaks over Golden Week, Obon, and New Year.
