Job Description:
Work as hall or kitchen staff at Shabuyo MIREO Sendai Rokuchome-no-me, a shabu-shabu buffet restaurant that opened in July 2026 as part of the Skylark group in Sendai's Wakabayashi ward. The buffet format means customer interaction is lighter than at a typical restaurant; orders are placed by touchscreen and food delivery robots assist with serving, keeping the physical workload manageable. Floor duties include seating guests, explaining the buffet, and handling payment; kitchen duties focus on cutting and preparing ingredients and portioning meat — no complex cooking required. Morning cleaning shifts (08:30–11:00) are also available for those preferring early hours, and shifts as short as 2 hours per day are accepted. A next-day advance pay system (前給 maekyu) lets you receive up to 70% of wages earned the previous day via smartphone, with electronic money payout also available. Foreign nationals and international students are actively welcomed; around 3,000 staff from approximately 59 countries work across the Skylark group.
