Job Description:
This is an evening hall staff role at Urashima Funabashi, a Japanese-modern izakaya in Funabashi, Chiba, specialising in sake from all 47 prefectures and robatayaki dishes made with fresh fish from Toyosu market. You will handle opening preparation, seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, cashier duties, and table clearing in a relaxed, sofa-and-private-room setting popular for dates and business dinners. The role is beginner-friendly with a 1-month training period and experienced senior staff always available to support you — previous hospitality experience is not required. Shifts run between 14:00 and 22:00, with a minimum of 4 hours per shift and at least 3 days per week; you must be available on either Friday or Saturday. Pay is monthly with cash-in-hand (手渡し tewatashi) option available. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided free of charge. Hair colour, style, nails, beard, and piercings are all permitted.
