Job Description:
Work at a charcoal-grilled beef bowl and bento shop in Funabashi, built around the image of a traditional neighbourhood butcher. You greet customers, take orders and recommend items, cut beef to order and grill it over charcoal, make bentos, work the touch panel register, and handle dishwashing and store cleaning. All cooking happens in an open kitchen in front of customers, which is what makes the job satisfying for the current staff. Recipes and manuals are provided and senior staff are easy to ask, with most people getting used to the work in about a month. Depending on the time of day you may focus mainly on prep work and cleaning. Shifts fall between 08:00 and 23:00 under a weekly shift request system, from 1 day a week and 3 hours a day, with weekday-only or weekend-only patterns considered. Staff meals (まかない makanai) give 800円 worth of food for 120円 and can be taken home, and pay is calculated to the minute. The shop is right by Baraki-Nakayama Station, and transport is covered up to 50,000円 a month.
Wage:
